Merch profit

See the number before the drop goes live.

Sale price minus production is not a vibe. Play with blanks, price, and daily sales here — then use the live cost and margin in MRCH, including the platform cut. This page is not a forecast.

The honest split

You do not keep the sticker price. You keep what is left.

  • You set the sale price

Too cheap and the unit is a souvenir. Too high and nobody taps buy. The app shows the floor.

  • Production is a real line

The blank plus print is not $0. Illustrative costs sit in the calculator. Live costs sit in the publish flow.

  • Margin is what remains

After production and platform costs. If that number is ugly, change the blank, the art, or the price — not the fantasy volume.

How to use the calculator

A sketch. Then the real screen in the app.

  1. 01

    Pick a blank

Tees are cheaper to produce than hoodies. The calculator uses illustrative costs so you can feel the gap.

  2. 02

    Drag the price

Watch unit remainder move. If you would not pay it, your audience might not either.

  3. 03

    Guess daily sales

This is a slider, not analytics. Do not screenshot it as a business plan.

  4. 04

    Confirm in MRCH

Publish with live production and margin visible. Connect PayPal when you want payouts.

Illustrative production: $9.68

Pick a blank, set a price, and drag daily sales. Production cost is illustrative — the live number, including the platform cut, shows in the app before you publish. This is not a forecast and not a promise.

FAQ

How much can I make selling merch on MRCH?

It depends on price, production cost, the platform cut, and whether anyone buys. Use the calculator as a sketch and the in-app price screen as the real number. We do not promise revenue.

Does the monthly total include fees?

The calculator subtracts illustrative production only. Live margin in MRCH includes platform costs. Always confirm in the app.

Where do payouts go?

Seller payouts use PayPal once connected. Native app purchases for credits use the App Store or Google Play; web credits use Stripe.

Is this the same as Printify’s earnings widget?

Same idea — price × pace — different product. MRCH is an AI merch studio with its own live store, not a printer catalog you wire into Shopify.
